The firm is a subsidiary of China-based Pinpoint Asset Management Ltd., ultimately held by EJ Holdings Ltd. in British Virgin Islands. PinPOINT HK provides professional investment management and advisory services to global institutional investors, private banks, fund of funds, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.

Norges Bank Investment Management (China) (NBIM-China) is the Shanghai investment management division of Norges Bank Investment Management, itself a subsidiary of State-owned Norges Bank in Norway. Established by the Norges Bank to manage the Government Pension Fund Global (often referred to as the Norwegian oil fund) and most of Norges Bank's foreign exchange reserves, NBIM-China was established in 2007.
