Max Knapp

Mr. Maxwell L.
Knapp is an Assistant Vice President & Portfolio Manager at United Bank, Inc. He is responsible for fund manager idea sourcing, performing due diligence on fund managers and ensuring that portfolio allocations adhere to United Wealth Management’s investment philosophy.
He also serves as Co-Head of United’s Fixed Income Strategy team.
Prior to joining United Bank, Mr. Knapp served as an Investment Associate for Comvest Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst for Deutsche Bank Securities.
He attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Accounting before attaining his M.S.
in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
He currently holds the Series 63 and Series 79 securities licenses.
