He joined Whirlpool in 1977.
Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Inglis Limited.
Mr. Thieneman was an Executive Vice President of the North American Region for Whirlpool in October 1997.
He received a BA degree in Physics from Bellarmine University in 1970, an MS and a PhD degree in Physics in 1977 from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of Evansville in 1981.
