Michael Gayst

Mr. Michael Gayst is a Managing Director at Momentum Private Equity Pty Ltd.
He is actively involved at Board and project level in Momentum's private equity investments, including managing MPEF and also a Senior Advisor to Miles Advisory Partners, a mid-market corporate advisory firm.
Prior to joining Momentum Private Equity Pty Ltd, Mr. Gayst was associated with Baring Brothers Burrows & Co. His corporate finance experience spans over 20 years, advising clients on a number of major transactions, most notably the ING ANZ funds management joint venture, NAB’s acquisition of MLC and Metcash's acquisition of Foodland Australia.
Mr. Gaysthe qualified as a chartered accountant whilst working with Coopers & Lybrand in their Corporate Services Division, where he worked on valuation, due diligence and litigation support assignments.
He was awarded his MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
