Mr. Michael Pittman was named ScottishPowers Corporate Director of Human Resources in November 2001.
He has served as senior vice president of PacifiCorp for human resources since May 2000 and he is a member of the PacifiCorp board of directors.
Mr. Pittman is also chairman of the PacifiCorp Foundation for Learning, a private, nonprofit entity that is the philanthropic arm of PacifiCorp.
He started with PacifiCorp in 1979 and has held a variety of roles in human resources and operations including employee benefits and pensions.
Mr. Pittman received his bachelor's degree in environmental health in 1975 and his master's degree in environmental health in 1982.
Both degrees were earned at the University of Washington.
