The Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) is a non-profit association that was established in 1993 by three sponsoring bodies, namely The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan, and the Auditor General of Pakistan. The non-profit company is based in Karachi, Pakistan. PIPFA is a full member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and provides professional excellence to public accountants in Pakistan. The affairs of the institute are managed by a 12-member Board of Governors comprising elected and nominated members. The Pakistani company was founded by Qaisar Mufti.

The Institute of Internal Auditors is an international professional association that serves over 235,000 members and has awarded more than 190,000 certified internal auditor (CIA) certifications worldwide. The non-profit company is based in Lake Mary, USA and has subsidiaries in more than 170 countries and territories. Established in 1941, the IIA is recognized throughout the world as the internal audit profession's leader in standards, certifications, education, research, and technical guidance. Anthony J. Pugliese has been the CEO of the American company since 2021.
