Shetty, CFA MBA, is a Head of Multi-Asset at Nuveen Asset Management LLC.
He leads multi-asset strategies for the Nuveen Solutions Team including several multi-asset mutual fund investment strategies.
He is a key contributor to the Team’s asset allocation views, portfolio construction, trading and implementation efforts.
Mr. Shetty joined Nuveen in May 2018 from UBS where he was Global Co-head of Portfolio Management for Investment Solutions, responsible for the global oversight and performance ownership of $110 billion in multi-asset portfolios, including mandates in absolute return, growth, and risk-managed Solutions.
His extensive responsibilities included direct portfolio management, multi-asset investment committee chair, senior management, and client engagement.
Prior to UBS, he held positions at Mesirow Financial in Chicago and Pareto Partners in New York.
Mr. Shetty holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Masters in Statistics from Texas A&M.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Financial Risk Manager designations.
