Mardell, CFA, is Senior Global Equities Analyst at Bell Asset Management Ltd.
She joined in November 2010 and has primary research responsibilities as a Global SMID Generalist and is co-lead on the Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples sectors.
She is also responsible for research eligible stocks across the cap spectrum within her coverage responsibilities in developed and emerging markets.
She has over 19 years of experience.
Prior to joining Ms. Mardell worked in London as a Global Equities Analyst for both First State Investments UK and Aviva Investors plc.
During her time in the UK, she worked mainly as a Generalist, however also had specific responsibilities for Consumer-related sectors such as Staples, Discretionary, Telecoms, IT, and various sub-sectors within the wider Industrials sector.
Prior to 2000, she worked for Colonial Ltd as a Research/BA within various departments including Marketing, Treasury and Group Strategic Development, where she helped managed various Group M&A deals and divestitures domestically and in the UK.
Ms. Mardell holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University, Melbourne (1997) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from The Securities Institute of Australia (2001).
She is a Charter holder of the CFA Institute and a member of the CFA Society in Melbourne.
