Nnamdi Okonkwo

Nnamdi John Okonkwo is currently serving as the Director at National Banking College, Non-Executive Director at Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc, Non-Executive Director at Unified Payment Services Ltd., and Vice President at The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, Mr. Okonkwo held the position of Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director & MD at Fidelity Bank Plc from 2014 to 2020.
He also served as the Chief Executive Officer at UBA Liberia Ltd., Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at UBA Ghana Ltd., and Chief Executive Officer at United Bank for Africa (Sierra Leone) Ltd. Additionally, he worked as the Regional Director, Project Director & Head-Banking at United Bank for Africa Plc from 2009 to 2012.
Mr. Okonkwo was also the Group Managing Director & Executive Director at FBN Holdings Plc from 2022 to 2024.
Furthermore, he held the position of Branch Manager-Onitsha Branch at Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd. (Nigeria) from 1993 to 1998.
Mr. Okonkwo completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Benin in 1989.
He also obtained an MBA from Enugu State University of Science & Technology in 2000.
