P. Michael Nedham

Mr. Nedham is a founder of Newport Partners.
He co-founded Canada's first M&A group in 1971 at Burns Fry, a predecessor of Nesbitt Burns, and served on its board of directors from 1974 to 1986.
In 1986, together with three principals in that M&A group, he founded Lancaster Financial, Inc., an M&A boutique and merchant banking firm.
In 1995, Lancaster was sold to TD Securities Inc. and Mr. Nedham became one of its managing directors.
Mr. Nedham left TD Securities in 1998 to form Michael Nedham & Associates, Ltd., a specialized financial advisory firm set up to assist entrepreneurs and small business managers by providing advice and execution with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, asset and corporate restructuring, financing and corporate strategy.
Mr. Nedham is co-general partner of a private capital fund, which invests in the Canadian oil and gas industry.
Mr. Nedham has an engineering degree from Queen's University, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
He is a member of the board of directors of TSE-listed Brompton VIP Management Ltd.
and Brompton MVP Management Ltd., x.eye incorporated, The Crescent School Foundation, and a past member of the Olympic Trust of Canada.
