Ms. Lee joins CreditSights as a corporate sector strategist and special situations analyst and is additionally responsible for primary coverage of the Telecom and Media sectors.
She was previously a Portfolio Manager of the risk arbitrage fund at Hamilton Partners, a Bermuda-based hedge fund.
Prior to joining Hamilton, Ms. Lee was a risk arbitrage analyst, a proprietary equity trader, and a high yield analyst covering the media and telecom and paper and pulp industries at Lehman Brothers.
Her extensive experience in the analysis of merger and acquisition transactions and special situations as well as in the equity sector gives CreditSights a valuable skill set, particularly in credits with high event risk.
Ms. Lee's equity background adds additional breadth to the corporate sector team particularly for the international convertible bond sector and equity-linked markets as well in assessing relative value opportunities across the capital structure.
She started her career in 1989 as an Associate at the Chase Manhattan Bank, where she spent two years in New York in the North American Corporate Finance Group and two years in Tokyo in the Financial Institutions Group.
She is fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish and Japanese.
Ms. Lee received a BS in Economics from Georgetown University in 1989 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) in 1995.
