Paul Embrechts

Paul Embrechts is a Professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, where he has been employed since 1989.
He previously worked as a Member-Management Board at Swiss Life Holding AG from 2003 to 2009.
Before that, he worked as a Lecturer at Imperial College London from 1983 to 1985, and at Limburg University from 1985 to 1989.
He also worked as a Research Assistant at Université Catholique de Louvain from 1975 to 1983.
Embrechts holds a doctorate from Université Catholique de Louvain, which he received in 1979, and a graduate degree from the University of Antwerp, which he received in 1975.
