Pearce Gilbert founded Argolyn Bioscience, Inc. in May 2002 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.
He is a Director of the Palmetto Biotechnology Alliance and the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO).
Most recently, Mr. Gilbert held various positions at The Synertech Group.
Prior to joining The Synertech Group, he was a Bench Scientist of Ecogen, Inc. Before Ecogen, he was Program Manager for Technology Transfer of the MUSC Foundation for Research Development.
He has over 20 years of experience in technology commercialization, new venture creation, and hands-on molecular biology research.
Mr.Gilbert received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Applied Biology from Georgia Tech University, an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, and a Master's of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Georgia.
