Mr. Peter A.
Hargrove, CFA, is a Managing Director at Guardian Capital LP.
He joined the firm in 1995 and is the Head of Fixed Income, leading the team that manages a diverse range of fixed income strategies.
He is also the primary portfolio manager on Guardian’s flagship Core Fixed Income strategy.
Mr. Hargrove's career in the financial services industry began when he joined SunLife and later, City of Calgary where he progressed from bond trading to portfolio management duties.
Prior to joining Guardian, he spent a decade in a similar leadership role in the fixed income group of MT Associates Investment Counsel.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University in 1975 and is a CFA charter holder.
