Following the 2001 merger of the Allianz and Dresdner Bank groups, APEP integrated the indirect investment activity of Dresdner Kleinwort Capital in 2003. APEP's fellow subsidiary ACP-Allianz Capital Partners GmbH specializes in direct private equity investments.
