Since joining Newcastle in 2000, Mr. Tortorello has advised the firm’s clients in generating more than $825 million in capital from real estate dispositions and structured transactions.
He has also negotiated entitlements and TIF incentives valued at over $250 million and completed over $350 million in property acquisitions.
Mr. Tortorello holds and MA in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts and a BA in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana.
He is a member of the American Planning Association, the Urban Land Institute, the National Multi-Housing Council, and the Chicagoland Apartment Association.
