Rajveer Kushwaha

Raj Kushwaha joined Warburg Pincus in 2012 and serves as Co-Head of the value creation function.
In addition to providing oversight for the value creation function, as the firm’s Chief Digital Officer, Raj is also responsible for product and technology diligence with prospective investments, as well as ongoing work with the firm’s existing portfolio companies.
His work with portfolio companies is focused on identifying opportunities to leverage AI/ML and LLM enabled digital strategies to create new growth platforms, and disruptive business model opportunities.
He is a Director of Arise.
He also serves on the board of Nutrien, and the Information Technology Committee of the Boards of Trustees of Mount Sinai.
Raj brings over 30 years of experience in leading large-scale digital transformations, building commercial grade SaaS software platforms, and managing technology operations in Fortune 500 companies, and entrepreneurial late stage ventures.
Prior to joining the firm, he held senior management positions at Zimmer Holdings Inc., Dell Computer Corporation, PepsiCo, First Data Corporation (FDC), Cummins Engine Company, and Safway, Inc. He has been recognized as one of the top 100 IT innovators in the automotive/manufacturing industry, is the recipient of a CIO 100 innovation award, is a noted industry author Financial services & Payments, and has numerous patents in the field of disruptive services technologies.
Raj holds an MS in Management of Technology from MIT, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and ISU; a BS in Electrical Engineering from India and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard University.
