Rashim Gupta

Mr. Rashim Gupta is Investment Associate at Connecticut Innovations, Inc. Prior to joining CI, Mr. Gupta worked in engineering, product design and corporate development at a number of telecom companies including Lucent Technologies, QUALCOMM Inc. and Cricket Communications.
He also worked as a consultant/advisor to a number of startups including Live Gamer, Comixology, Magnetic and Por-Ti-Familia, assisting them in product management, strategic planning and financial analysis.
His past venture capital experience includes work at Rose Tech Ventures, a venture capital firm in New York City.
There he was involved in a number of early-stage deals.
Rashim also worked at the Office of the Mayor in New York City, where, as a consultant for the City's agencies, he came up with strategies to increase revenues and cut costs.
Mr. Gupta earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer engineering from University of Pune, a Master of Science in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University's Stern School of Business.
