Richard Abbott

Rick Abbott joined Advent in 2010 as Tax Director.
Rick is responsible for Federal, State and International tax reporting matters of the Investment Funds, the Management Company and its worldwide subsidiaries.
Prior to Advent, Rick was Vice President and Director of Global Tax Compliance for Wellington Management Company and Senior Tax Manager with GE Capital.
Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
He later received both his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Taxation, graduating with distinction, from Bentley College.
Rick is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
