Early in his career, Richard realized how vital his efforts as a neurologist were to patients when, despite ten inches of snow covering the city, his entire clinic was packed.
Now, he continues to be motivated by this powerful moment decades later, and believes that working in the biotech industry is a chance to continually improve patient lives on a global scale.
Richard joined Third Rock from Biogen, and previously spent 30 years at the Cleveland Clinic, where he founded and directed the Neuroinflammation Research Center in the Lerner Research Institute.
