Rick has extensive experience as a transformational CFO for private equity backed and public companies.
Rick has been CFO of Synamedia (video content solutions; Permira), Worldpay (payments; Advent International & Bain Capital), where he helped lead the company’s IPO on the London Stock Exchange and subsequent merger with Vantiv, Misys (financial/banking software; Vista Equity Partners), Inmarsat (communications technology; Apax/Permira) and NDS (communications software; NASDAQ listed).
Rick has extensive non-executive experience, including serving on the board of Sophos plc (cyber security software) until its take private by Thoma Bravo.
Earlier in his career, Rick served as CFO of a variety of smaller private equity backed technology companies including Creative Group Holdings and Technology plc.
Rick is a qualified chartered accountant in the U.K and has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Cambridge.
