Dr. Troy has been in the Software industry for over 20 years, and founded Verilog in 1984 in the capacity of President and CEO until he sold it in 1994.
Verilog developed and marketed real-time and object-oriented software development products.
At Verilog, he guided the company's high growth from 0 to $30 million, and directed it's worldwide market leadership position.
He also developed strategic partnerships in the U.S., Europe and Asia, selling Verilog products in over 22 countries.
During this period of time, he was very involved in the technological programs within the European Economic Community.
Previously (from 1980 to 1984), he served as Manager of the Software Observatory from ADI, an agency of the French Ministry of Industry.
From 1971 to 1979, he held various positions as Assistant Professor in University P.
Sabatier in Toulouse, France and as Senior Researcher for INRIA where he managed technology transfer among research and industry communities for dependable computing during 5 years.
