Robert Hanson

Mr. Hanson joined Republic on August 8, 2005.
With years in the aviation industry, he has held several Vice President level positions in airline maintenance, AARO Operations, aircraft manufacturing and aircraft sales and leasing support.
Prior to joining Republic, Mr. Hanson was Senior Vice President of Technical Services with debis AirFinance USA where he was responsible for aircraft refurbishment and overhaul for resale as well as aircraft sales and lease negotiations.
Previously, Mr. Hanson worked in Asset Management for Fairchild Dornier and Fairchild Aerospace where his experience included not only aircraft refurbishment and overhaul for resale, sales and lease negotiations but also aircraft retrofit program management.
Mr. Hanson was instrumental in the development and growth of three major regional airline maintenance departments during the 1980's: Wings West Airlines (American Eagle), Resort Air Airlines (Trans World Express) and West Air (United Express).
His aircraft refurbishment projects include both domestic and international locations supporting a worldwide customer base.
Mr. Hanson is a licensed A&P Mechanic as well as an experienced pilot with over 5000 hours flight experience.
Mr. Hanson remains active in the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and the National Aircraft Appraiser Association (NAAA).
