Dr. Ronald Doeswijk is Chief Strategist at Robeco Institutional Asset Management BV.
He is a seasoned economics and asset allocation professional.
From 1996 to 2010, Dr. Doeswijk was an investment strategist at IRIS, the investment research operation of Rabobank and Robeco.
In addition to his career in the asset management industry, Ronald has strong links with the academic world.
He has authored a range of academic articles on strategic and tactical asset allocation, which have appeared in publications such as the Journal of Portfolio Management, the Journal of Wealth Management, the International Review of Financial Analysis and the Journal of Investing.
Dr. Doeswijk holds a Master's degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
He also obtained his PhD there in 2007 with his thesis ‘Ape or Art’.
He frequently presents his view on the economy and financial markets in the media.
Ronald is a columnist for the FD (the Dutch financial newspaper) and participates in a panel on Business News Radio (BNR).
