Ms. Sarah E.
Newman is the Head of Alternatives for UK & EMEA at Barclays Bank Plc.
Her team is responsible for the origination, structuring and delivery of the alternatives proposition, where alternatives covers hedge funds, private equity and real estate, for the Barclays Wealth & Investment Management in Europe and the Middle East.
Ms. Newman has 19 years of experience in the Financial Services industry and has worked in London, New York and Sydney.
Prior to joining Barclays, she was at Credit Suisse where she led the hedge fund-linked origination and structuring business.
Before that, she worked for JP Morgan Chase and BNP Paribas in both fund and equity derivatives.
Ms. Newman has a degree in Physics from Manchester University.
