Scott William McGough

Mr. Scott W.
McGough, CFA MBA, is a Regional Director & Managing Director at Glenmede Investment Management LP.
He is a Regional Director within Glenmede’s Private Wealth Group.
In this role, he leads the firm’s wealth management practice for high-net-worth individuals and families, including the development and management of personalized and comprehensive investment management, advisory and planning services.
Additionally, he serves as a member of the Company’s Investment Policy Committee.
Previously, Mr. McGough served as Glenmede’s Director of Fixed Income.
He was responsible for the management of tax-exempt and taxable fixed income, directing a team of traders, portfolio managers, credit analysts and risk strategy professionals overseeing more than $7 billion of assets under management.
He has more than 25 years of experience in trading and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Glenmede in 1998, Mr. McGough was a fixed income portfolio manager and trader with General Accident Insurance for over five years.
While at General Accident, he analyzed and traded various fixed income products including U.S.
Treasuries, agencies, corporate securities, municipals, non-rated securities and non-dollar denominated debt.
Mr. McGough earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Temple University, and graduated with honors from Albright College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and German.
Mr. McGough retains the Chartered Financial Analyst® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designations and is currently a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute.
