Sheelah Connolly

Dr. Sheelah Connolly is Research Officer at The Economic & Social Research Institute.
Her research interests include the social and economic determinants of health, the economics of ageing and the operation of health systems.
She is currently working on a programme of research looking at healthcare reform in Ireland.
Prior to joining ESRI, she was employed as a Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin, working on the economics and epidemiology of neurodegenerative disorders.
Dr. Connolly received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Legal Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway, a Master of Science in Health Economics from the University of York and a PhD in Epidemiology from Queens University Belfast.
