Mr. Simon P.
Davies is the Head of Compliance at Marathon Asset Management LLP.
He is responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to achieve compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring portfolios conform to client guidelines, and risk management.
He joined Marathon in 1997 from the Investment Management Regulatory Organisation (which subsequently became part of the FSA) where he was an Assistant Team Manager responsible for the investigation and supervision of regulated investment firms.
Prior to this, he undertook a number of accountancy-related roles in the financial services industry.
Mr. Davies graduated with a B.Sc from Swansea University in 1985.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 1990
