Steve is a co-founder of KSL and currently serves as its Chief Operating Officer.

Beginning in 1995, he was a partner of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C., where he served as Chair of the Corporate and Securities Department and as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
From 1990 through 1995, Steve was with the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, becoming a partner in 1993.
He began his legal career as an associate with Cravath Swaine & Moore in 1987.
Steve is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Colorado.
He holds a J.D.
from the University of Chicago and a B.A.
in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Steve is a member of the board of directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
