She also has received numerous awards in return for her generous sharing of time and philanthropy.
In addition to the LSU Foundation Board of Directors,
Ms. Turner currently serves on the Boards of the Louisiana State Museum and the Louisiana Museum Foundation, Trustee for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, as well as Trustee Emeritus for the LSU Museum of Art.
Ms. Turner received a bachelor’s degree from LSU in 1947.
