Susan Waithaka

Susan joined AIIM as an Investment Intern in 2020 and was later promoted to Investment Analyst.
Susan supports the Pan-African team from deal origination stage to execution and asset management for existing assets in East Africa.
Prior to joining AIIM, Susan worked as a Finance and Fund Administrator Assistant at Amana Capital, a Kenyan fund manager.
Susan mainly assisted with the accounting functions of the firm, administration of the money market and pension funds as well as business development.
Susan was also part of the SGR Project Management team as a Project Accounting Intern.
Susan holds a master’s degree from the University of Exeter, UK and has successfully completed CFA Level 1 and 13 ACCA papers.
