Prior to joining Haverford Trust, Mr. Hipp was a research analyst who was then promoted to portfolio manager at Oak Associates, ltd., an investment management firm in Akron, Ohio.
Actively involved in community affairs, he participated in initiatives of local non-profit organizations such as the Akron Children's Hospital Craniofacial Clinic and the local Ronald McDonald House.
Mr. Hipp is a graduate of Denison University.
