Thomas Quertermous

Thomas Quertermous is the founder of VIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. which was founded in 2004.
He was also the founder of VIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2004 and held the title of Chief Scientific Officer in 2007.
Currently, he is a Professor at Stanford University since 1997.
He previously worked as a Director at CareDx, Inc. and Aviir, Inc. from 2006 to 2014.
He was also a Director-Cardiology Division & Professor at Vanderbilt University and an Independent Director at BioCardia, Inc. from 2002 to 2019.
Additionally, he was a Principal Laboratory Investigator at The General Hospital Corp.
He received his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College and his graduate and doctorate degrees from The University of Chicago.
