Prior to joining Legg Mason in 2004, Mr. Hynes was Executive Vice President and Director at Allfirst Trust Company, N.A.
Previously, he was Director of Allied Investment Advisors, Inc. Mr. Hynes is a Director at Union Memorial Hospital Foundation and its Planned Giving Committee and a member of the Hibernian Society of Baltimore.
He is a Member of the American Bar, Maryland State, and Baltimore City Bar Associations as well as the District of Columbia Bar Association.
He represented the trust industry in Maryland with the Maryland Bankers Association before the Legislature on trust and investment matters.
Mr. Hynes received his BS from Loyola College and a J.D.
from University of Maryland School of Law.
