Walton is Partner at New Mainstream Capital.
Prior to joining NMS, Mr. Walton was a Partner and Managing Director of Haas Wheat & Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm specializing in strategic equity investments and leveraged buyouts of middle market companies.
He has wealth of experience investing in the private and public sectors.
While at Haas Wheat, Mr. Walton was integrally involved in all facets of the firm's activities, including the strategic implementation of the firm's investment philosophy, the origination, development and evaluation of investment opportunities, as well as the structuring, negotiation and execution of the firm's transactions.
Mr. Walton played a significant role in all of the firm's investment transactions including portfolio company acquisitions, strategic minority investments, recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, public equity offerings, debt financings, and execution of exit strategies for the firm's portfolio investments.
Mr. Walton served as a member of the Board of Directors for numerous Haas Wheat portfolio companies, including Playtex Products (formerly NYSE: PYX), Smarte Carte Corporation, Nebraska Book Company and Medfinders, Inc. Prior to HWP, Mr. Walton served as Vice President at a hedge fund located in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Walton is a member of the Board of Directors of Omni Home Health, H2O Plus, and Geoscape.
Mr. Walton received his BBA from Baylor University.
