Xiang Ti Zhao

Mr. Zhao has been part of the team for over eight years since 1999 when he joined Torch’s Mergers and Acquisitions team as a Senior Manager.
He led the industry research on the heavy truck sector and the drafting of Torch’s initial acquisition strategy.
Mr. Zhao has played an important role in many of Torch’s investments.
Mr. Zhao co-managed Torch’s investment in Shaanxi Heavy Auto including the initial feasibility study, deal structuring, due diligence, and execution and became a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Zhao led Torch’s investment in Yingde Gases beginning with the initial feasibility study, which led to the formation of the company.
Mr. Zhao currently serves on Yingde Gases’ Board of Directors.
From 1992 to 1999, Mr. Zhao was General Manager of Xinjiang First Automotive Works, an automobile spare parts manufacturer.
Mr. Zhao received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hebei Science and Technology University.
