Yoichi Sakagawa

Yo joined GB in 2020.
He is in charge of the Life Science Investment, particularly Medical Device.
He has a mission to contribute to the innovation in the Japanese medical device ecosystem where it currently falls behind of the oversea's.
While he learns a lot from the oversea's and the other sector's investment, he would like to give back the experiences to the Japanese ecosystem.
Prior to joining GB, Yo worked for a Japanese medical device company called Terumo Corporation.
He was an engineer in charge of preclinical evaluation and new product development.
He was also in charge of corporate management for R&D both domestic and overseas and project management in a business unit.
Yo likes to play soccer, but the opportunity to play decreased as his life style changes (marriage, born of 1st and 2nd child, etc.).
He now realized how important the soccer is in his life as a habit, so his habit now is to look for a habit which is equivalent for his soccer.
