Currently, Chih Te Sun holds the position of Senior EVP & Deputy Spokesperson at Cathay Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. and Chairman at Cathay Securities Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Cathay Financial Holdings Co. Ltd.).

He is also on the board of Cathay Securities Corp. Ltd. (former Chairman & Chief Executive Officer).

Mr. Sun received a graduate degree and an MBA from Harvard University.
