Furthermore, he held the position of Director-Molecular Biology at Genentech, Inc. from 1978 to 1993 and at Genetech AB from 1978 to 1993.
He was a Director at Flexus Biosciences, Inc. and Rapt Therapeutics, Inc. from 2015 to 2020.
He served as a Director at Surrozen, Inc., Nura Bio, Inc., and Exonics Therapeutics, Inc. He was also the Senior Vice President-Scientific at Amgen, Inc. from 2004 to 2006.
Dr. Goeddel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego in 1972.
He obtained his doctorate degree from The University of Colorado in 1977.
