Mr. George W. Karpus is a Founder & Chairman of the Board at Karpus Management, Inc.

He emphasis in overall investment policy and strategies of firm and client servicing.

His previous experience was with Marine Midland and Bache & Co. in analysis, portfolio management, he was a past President of Cash Management Association of Monroe County.

He was a Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Finance in 2003, and extensively quoted in major publications including Forbes, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Barron’s and has written for the Cash Manager and Medical Economics Journal. Mr. Karpus was employed as a Principal by Bache & Co., Inc. and HSBC Bank USA, NA.

He received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and MS Program from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
