Croatian Privatization Fund (CPF) is the Republic of Croatia's agency responsible for managing the country's privatization process. CPF was created in 1993 when the Agency for Restructuring and the Croatian Development Fund merged. Located in Zagreb, the Fund aims to implement and complete the privatization of former socially-owned enterprises, assets and legal persons in the state's portfolio. Managed by a Government-appointed Board which is responsible for designing and implementing business policy, the Fund utilizes public tenders and public auctions as their methods of privatization. CPF aims to divest the assets and enterprises of the state portfolio, comprised of strategic assets from the tourism, agribusiness and industrial sectors, seeking investors with capital, market access, managerial know-how, new technology and operational efficiency.
