Presently, Jonathan Gilligan occupies the position of Chief Operating Officer at Liberty Gold Corp. Dr. Gilligan is also on the board of Cerrado Gold, Inc.

In the past Dr. Gilligan held the position of General Manager-Pitarilla at SSR Mining, Inc. and Vice President at BHP Billiton Canada, Inc.

Dr. Gilligan received an undergraduate degree from University College London and a doctorate from The University of Southampton.
