In the past Dr. Talvitie was Director-Strategic Communications at Magnit PJSC, Senior Vice President of BNP Paribas Securities Services S.C.A., Chief Managing Director at URALSIB Financial Corp. JSC, Vice President for Bank of New York (London Branch) and Senior Vice President & Head-Investor Relations at VTB Bank PJSC.

He received a graduate degree from the University of Helsinki and an MBA from London Business School.
