Leong Yap Ter

Leong Yap Ter is the founder of Asean-China Entrepreneurs Association (founded in 2018) and Sunsuria Bhd.
(founded in 1989).
He is currently the Vice Chairman of Province of Sichuan, Chairman of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Bhd., Executive Vice Chairman of China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, Vice Chairman of Pin Hwa High School, Vice Chairman of Hin Hua High School, Vice Chairman-Sixth Council of Fujian Overseas Exchange Association, Chairman of SJK (C) Sunsuria, Executive Vice Chairman of Greater Bay Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vice Chairman of Sichuan Overseas Exchange Association, Executive Vice Chairman of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Internet Alliance, Director of Kuen Cheng High School, Director of Xiamen University Malaysia, Member of China Overseas Friendship Association, Member of Trade & Industry Advisory Board, and Member of Malaysia Singapore Business Council.
He has previously worked as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bank of China (Malaysia) Bhd.
from 2010 to 2017, President of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Ind of MY from 2012 to 2021, President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur from 2012 to 2021, President of Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2002 to 2009, and President of National Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Malaysia from 2016 to 2021.
Mr. Ter completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Malaya.
