She is also on the board of Low Carbon Contracts Co. Ltd. and Council Member at Cranfield University.

In the past Dr. Mayhew held the position of Managing Director-Natural Resources Division at Costain Group Plc and Senior Manager-Client Accounting at Equiom (Isle of Man) Ltd.
