Mir Hossain

Mir Nasir Hossain is currently the Chairman of Mir Technologies Ltd., Mir Communications Ltd., Mir Energy Ltd., Global Fair Communication Ltd., Coloasia Ltd., and The Diabetic Association Medical College.
He is also the Chairman-Governing Body of The Diabetic Association Medical College.
In addition, he is a Non-Executive Director at Eastern Bank Plc since 1993.
Mr. Hossain is the Managing Director & Director of Mir Akhter Hossain Ltd., Mir Ceramic Ltd., Mir Holdings Ltd., and Mir Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
He is also the Managing Director of Mir Telecom Ltd.
since 2000 and the Managing Director of Bangla Telecom Ltd., BTS Communications Bangladesh Ltd., Mir Lpg Ltd., and Mir Akther Hossain Ltd.
Furthermore, he serves as a Director at Chaldal Ltd.
Mr. Hossain is a Member of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and Diabetic Association of Bangladesh.
He is the Proprietor of Fair Trading Co. Ltd.
and the President of The Faridpur Diabetic Association.
Formerly, Mr. Hossain was the Chairman of MIR Securities Ltd.
and Ebl Asset Management Ltd.
He served as the President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry from 2005 to 2007.
He was also the Vice President of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the Senior Vice President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Additionally, he was the President of Telecommunication Infrastructure Operators of Bangladesh.
Mr. Hossain graduated from the University of Dhaka in 1961.
