Nkululeko Leonard Sowazi is the Non-Executive Chairman of Bud Chemicals & Minerals.

He holds the position of Chairman at Home Loan Guarantee Co. NPC, Chairman of The Financial Markets Trust, Chairman for Synchem, Inc., Chairman at Kagiso Tiso Holdings (Pty) Ltd., Co-Chairman of Tiso Investment Holdings Pty Ltd. and Chairman of Litha Healthcare Holdings Pty Ltd. Mr. Sowazi is also Chairman of Housing for HIV Foundation and on the board of 15 other companies.

In his past career Mr. Sowazi held the position of Chairman of Eris Property Group (Pty) Ltd., Executive Chairman at Tiso Blackstar Group (Pty) Ltd., Executive Chairman for Tiso Group Ltd. and Non-Executive Chairman at Litha Healthcare Group Ltd.

Mr. Sowazi received a graduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an undergraduate degree from United States International University (Kenya).
