Currently, Phillip Clive Lockyer holds the position of Chairman of The Minerals & Energy Research Institute of Western Australia and Non-Executive Chairman for GR Engineering Services Ltd. Mr. Lockyer is also on the board of RTG Mining, Inc.

In the past Mr. Lockyer occupied the position of Manager-Business Development at National Mine Management Pty Ltd., Non-Executive Chairman of ALS Metallurgy Pty Ltd., Executive Director-Operations & Projects at Dominion Mining Ltd., Director & General Manager-Operations at Resolute Ltd., General Manager-Western Australia at WMC Resources Ltd. and General Manager-Western Australia Operations at WMC Ltd.

He received a graduate degree from Curtin University.
