Dr. Traeger is also on the board of AIXTRON SE and Member of Telstar-Hommel Corp., Member of Prodomax Automation Ltd., Member of JENOPTIK (Shanghai) Precision Instrument & Equipment Co., Ltd., Member of Jenoptik Shanghai International Trading Co. Ltd. and Member of JENOPTIK Korea Corp. Ltd.

In his past career Dr. Traeger was EVP & Head-Life Sciences Business Division at Tecan Group AG, Managing Director at Carl Zeiss Microscopy Ltd., Managing Director at Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH, Director-Strategic Business Development at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG and Member of JENOPTIK Optical Systems LLC.

Stefan Traeger received a doctorate from the University of Hannover and an MBA from Purdue University.
