Fincantieri S.p.A. è una società specializzata nel settore della costruzione navale. Il fatturato per attività è ripartito come segue:

- costruzione e riparazione di navi (73,8%): navi da crociera, mercantili, petroliere, yacht, imbarcazioni speciali e militari;

- fabbricazione di apparecchiature e di componenti meccanici (13,3%). Parallelamente, il gruppo propone servizi di assistenza post-vendita.

- costruzione di strutture offshore (12,9%): costruzione di navi di servizio destinate all'industria estrattiva, navi per la trivellazione offshore e piattaforme semi-sommergibili di perforazione. Inoltre, Fincantieri S.p.A. propone prodotti e servizi destinati alle navi e alle piattaforme di trivellazione (servizi di ingegneria e di installazione, sistemi elettronici, sistemi di automazione, sistemi di propulsione, sistemi di stabilizzazione, ecc.).

A fine 2023 il gruppo dispone di 18 siti di produzione in tutto il mondo.
